to open the
archive files, you'll need to install winrar. you can download winrar
from http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
to convert your .kml tracklog to .igc format, you need to do the
following
1- download gpsdump from http://www.multinett.no/~stein.sorensen/body_gpsdump.htm
2- open gpsdump
3- click file -> open log
4- change "file type" box to "flightlog files (*.kml)", select your
tracklog and click open
5- click a date under "UTC Date" and press ctrl + a
6- click file -> save log in igc format
7- enter pilot name, flight number and click save
8- give any desired name to your log and click save. there you have it!
